ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY

The members of the Shoalhaven Alliance for Yes23 group reside in the lands of the Jerrinja, Wandi Wandandian, Wodi Wodi and Yuin First Nations peoples; speakers of the Dharawal and Dhurga languages.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of these lands. We honour and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging; and to their Ancestors who have walked this country since the creation of time. We recognise their continuing connection -both physical and spiritual- to the land, sea, culture and community.

WE NEED ALL SAY23 VOLUNTEERS, OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILIES – PLEASE, JOIN US !!!

WHAT? Our SAY23 group will participate in the YES23 DAY OF ACTION
WHEN? Tuesday, 1st August 2023 from 8am to 9am
WHERE? Mass Transport Hubs – We have chosen Bomaderry Train Station and Stewart Place Bus Terminal
WHY? YES23 wants to show that there is strong support for the YES vote across Australia, we must be very VISIBLE to commuters
HOW? Wear t-shirts, corflute signs, picture frames, badges, stickers, etc. Take as many pictures and videos of your group and of positive reactions from the crowd, email them to [email protected] or just upload them to our channels in social media (tag them as #yes23 in social media)

REMEMBER

We will not be campaigning, just showing support for the campaign, but bring flyers and docs in a bag or backpack, in case people request them from us (we can only provide flyers or docs if we are asked)
